DERA GHAZI KHAN, Dec 26: A blast caused by a home-made explosive device partially damaged a few shops near a wagon stop at Taunsa Sharif in the wee hours of Tuesday. According to bomb disposal squad personnel, the device weighing 1.5 kilogram had been planted in a locked cobbler’s box placed near a mosque. The wagon stand, near which the blast occurred around 6.12am, was mostly used by the vehicles bound for the tribal areas of the NWFP. Though the blast partially damaged some shops located near the stand, no casualty was reported. It was 19th blast in the district during last 18 months.
