Man commits suicide

RAWALPINDI, Dec 22: A man shot himself to death in Dhoke Kala Khan on Friday, police said. Mohammad Awais, 28, was found dead in his room after his father broke open the door of his room. Mohammad Akram told the police that his son had a dispute with him which drove Awais into distress. On Friday, his son went into his room and shot himself with a pistol.

GROCERY STORE LOOTED: A gang of six robbers entered a grocery store in Saddar and looted its owner and a customer, police said.

Mehr Khan told the police that six persons entered his shop and held him and some customers at gunpoint. The robbers snatched Rs60,000 cash, three mobile phones as well as a CD player from the car of a man waiting outside the shop.
