SHEIKHUPURA, Dec 21: A woman and her son were shot dead by robbers in Dargai Gill Abadi near Rana Town, some 45 km here, on Thursday. Seven armed men barged into the house of Rana Aziz, a contractor. They held up family and started collecting valuables. The armed men open fire when they met resistance. As a result, Hamida Bibi and her son Khadim were injured. They died in hospital.
In Mohalla Ahmadpura, six armed dacoits burst into Aslam’s house. They shot at and injured him on resistance and took away valuables worth hundreds and thousands of rupees. — Correspondent
