Schemes for Thar sought

MITHI, Dec 21: The district council of Tharparkar, through different resolutions, has urged the provincial government to sanction schemes for community halls at eight locations in various villages and towns besides residential quarters and an office building for the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) at Mithi.

Council members Abdul Subhan Sodho, Ms Satbai, Shakardin and Ghanshamdas while tabling the resolutions at the district council session held here on Thursday, demanded schemes for community halls in Lakhmir Para of Meghe Jo Taar village, Shakoor Mohalla of Rajoro village, Badal Para of Gaje Jo Paar, Haroon Hothani Para of Udani, Waryam Para of Udani, Raso Mohalla of Rarli village, Soother Para of Islamkot and Meghwar Para of Islamkot.

The resolutions were passed unanimously.
