KARACHI, Dec 21: The Institute of Architects Pakistan has elected the following office-bearers for 2006-07: Ejaz Ahed was elected president, Ahmed Pervez Mirza and Shama Usman, vice presidents; Amina Nasim Jan, honorary secretary, Arif Belgaumi, honorary treasurer; Silwat Afzal, Imrana Tiwana and Syed Zaigham S. Jaffery, members; Husnain Lotia, chairman of Karachi Chapter; Shakil Qureshi, chairman of Lahore Chapter; Salman Mansur, chairman of Peshawar/Islamabad Chapter, and S. Akeel Bilgrami, Immediate Past President.—PPI
