KARACHI: Restriction on heavy vehicles

KARACHI, Dec 21: All the goods carriers have been barred from using Sharea Faisal during peak hours by the traffic police. A notification to this effect was issued by DIG Traffic Falak Khursheed here on Thursday.

The movement of goods carriers including (Suzuki’s, pickups, mini-trucks and Mazda trucks) has been restricted from 9am to 11am and from 5pm to 8pm in the evening. The order would come into force forthwith and shall remain effective till further orders.

Contravention of this order shall be punishable under Section 112 of the Motor Vehicles Ordinance -1965.
