Eight more Pakistani pilgrims die

ISLAMABAD, Dec 18: Eight more Pakistani pilgrims died during the last two days in Saudi Arabia raising the number of dead to 33.

Those who died have been identified are: 50-year-old Hameeda Begum (Passport No. 748121), of Rawalpindi, died of cardiac arrest in Madinah on Dec 15; 82-year-old Fatima (Passport No. 383057), of Sialkot died of heart attack on Dec 16 in Madinah; 45-year-old Shamil Akhtar (Passport No. 154352), of Jhang, died on Dec 16 due to cardio respiratory failure in Makkah; 62-year-old Mohammad Inayat (Passport No. 220663), of Gujrat, died of pneumonia on Dec 16 in Makkah; 63-year-old Mohammad Shareef (Passport No. 731212), of Lahore, died on Dec 17 in Madinah; 63-year-old Mohammad Akaram (Passport No. 457091), of Karachi, died of heart attack in Madinah on Dec 17; 70-year-old Fazak Khan (Passport No. 757010), of Rawalpindi, died on Dec 17 in Makkah; 70-year-old Sabran (Passport No. 269755), of Okara, died in Madinah on Dec 17.

All those who died in Makkah had been laid to rest in Sharayah graveyard and those who died in Madinah had been buried in Janatul Baqee.
