PESHAWAR, Dec 18: NWFP Minister for Information Asif Iqbal Daudzai has said that one of the basic teachings of Islam is to respect other religions and their believers. As Pakistanis it is the foremost duty of all of us to maintain tolerance and respect each others.

He expressed these views while addressing the inaugural ceremony of ABC School System's building in Yusafab Tehkal Payan, Peshawar, on Monday.

“We all are Pakistanis and there exists a strong bond of nationality amongst us all. Therefore, we should give priority to serving this country and the nation.

He said the government in general and Chief Minister in particular were giving special attention to the welfare of the minority community, and the construction of a grand Church in Nathia Gali and a temple in Nowshera were the living examples of that.—PPI
