Wapda gain first points

KARACHI, Oct 18: Wapda finally scored their first points in the Patron’s Trophy Grade-I National Cricket Championship with a convincing 89-run defeat of PWD at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad Thursday.

PWD, who were hopelessly laced at 79 for six at the start of the fourth and final day, added another 28 runs before being bundled out for 107, according to details available here.

Medium-pacer Raees Amjad claimed all the wickets to fall Thursday to finish with five for 42.
