KARACHI, Dec 15: Four ships to load and unload containers, chemicals and edible oil arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Berth occupancy fell to sixty per cent six ships, Mumbai Express, Hammurabi, Sturdy Falcon, Annie Sierra, Barbara and Opal, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, seeds, iron ore and edible oil.

A cargo volume of 37,769 tons comprising 18,179 tons of import and 19,590 tons of export tonnage was handled. Sailings were active as Mumbai Express and Hammurabi left the port.
