PESHAWAR, Dec 13: A five-member Iranian automobile delegation visited Peshawar to explore business and investment opportunities.

The delegation met the director TDAP and discussed with him the scope of supply of auto parts to the local automobile industry, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.

The delegation also discussed with Zahir Shah, the director TDAP and representatives of the automobile sector the possibilities of joint ventures in auto parts manufacturing in Pakistan.

The Iranian delegation appreciated the efforts of the Pakistani government for adopting an open policy on foreign investment and offering package of incentives to attract foreign investors.

The delegation said that the continuity and consistency in economic policies of the government had created a conducive business and investment climate in Pakistan, which attracted entrepreneurs from all over the world to invest in various sectors.
