LAHORE, Dec 12: Two-year-old bay colt, Kiss Of Luck, who registered a facile victory last month, will be on trot to repeat it when the mid-week Lahore Gymkhana races begin for the first time during this season at the Racecourse on Wednesday.

A meeting of the Lahore Race Club (LRC) presided over by LRC chairman Tariq Aziz had last week decided to hold mid-week Gymkhana races after every fortnight besides the Lahore Winter Meetings staged on Sundays.

If the experiment succeeds Wednesday Gymkhana races will become a permanent feature along with Winter Meetings every Sunday.

Kiss Of Luck had convincingly won the Nursery Plate, a term race for two-year-old colts and fillies (maidens) on November 4 He is now running in class V division I handicap race which includes two-year-old as well as older horses.

Kiss Of Luck is a progeny of Irish sire Francisco Guardi from the linage of Robellino and USA sire Roberto Among his ten rivals the notable are: Two-year-old filly Richy Dancer and Tornado, who could make his task somewhat difficult.
