KARACHI, Dec 11: Four ships load and offload containers, rice and furnace oil were accommodated berths on Sunday.

According to a press release issued here on Monday another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 70 per cent as eight ships, America, Phoenix, Pacer, Sturdy Falcon, Annie Sierra,

Legiony Polskie, S. Capt. George-I and Stella, were busy in loading and offloading containers, rice, seeds, iron ore and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 94,425 tons comprising 82,287 tons of import and 12,138 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Phoenix and America left the port while Stella and Pacer were expected to depart on Monday.
