Completion of gas project ordered

PESHAWAR, Dec 9: NWFP Minister for Information Asif Iqbal Daudzai has directed officials of the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited to complete gas supply projects in the city at the earliest.

In his meeting with SNGPL managing director S.M. Husnain on Saturday, the minister underscored the importance of early completion of the project in the PF-8 sector. Mr Daudzai was assured of speedy work in the Ram Kashun (Ahmadabad), Nasapa Payan, Khan Baba Ghari and Ahmad localities.

He was told that gas would soon be supplied to Mandra Khail, Nasapa Bala, Khadra Khail, Tooda and adjoining localities as work on the projects there had been completed.

CONDOLENCE: NWFP Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Sardar Muhammad Idrees has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the bus accident in Kohistan which claimed a number of lives.

In a condolence message, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls, early recovery of the injured and expressed heartfelt sympathies with members of the affected families. He asked the district administration to give full attention to the treatment of the injured.

He also asked them to take steps to avoid such mishaps in the future.—PPI
