Case against 3 for killing ASI

GUJRAT, Dec 8: Lalamusa Sadder police on Friday registered a case against three accused for killing an ASI and injuring a constable critically on Thursday.

Reports said that ASI Malik Arshad and constable Shafique had set up a picket in Sarwani village after receiving information about proclaimed offender Azeem Butt.

As the two policemen stopped PO Azeem and his two nephews to prove their identity, they opened fire on law enforcers.

As a result, ASI Malik Arshad died on the spot while constable sustained serious bullet wounds.

A police source claimed that PO Azeem Butt and his nephew Dildar had been arrested while PO’s another nephew managed to escape.
