ISLAMABAD, Dec 7: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) and Institute of Business Administration (IBA) on Thursday signed the contract renewal agreement for probationary officers attending the MBA course in tax management.

CBR Member Human Resource Management, Muhammad Talha and Director (IBA) Danishmand inked the contract on behalf of their respective organisations.

An official announcement said the tax management programme was currently run by IBA, Karachi, exclusively for the CBR officers under the CBR tax reforms initiative. The IBA has so far trained two batches of Customs and Income Tax probationary officers of 31st and 32nd common training programme.

The first batch of tax officers of 31st CTP, passed out in 2005, was already working in the CBR reformed units such as Large Taxpayer Units and Model Customs Collectorates in Pakistan.
