KARACHI: Baloch families stage sit-in

Published December 7, 2006

KARACHI, Dec 6: Family members of abducted Baloch activists on Wednesday staged a sit-in in front of Karachi Press Club demanding their release or production in courts. Holding placards and portraits of the missing relatives, they criticised the government’s brutal actions against Baloch people. They condemned the arrest of BNM chief Ghulam Mohammad Baloch and JWP’s leader Sher Mohammad Baloch.

The rally was organised by the Baloch Yekjehti Committee.

Later, a spokesman of the committee supported the call of the NP and the BNP to observe black day on December 7.
