Newspaper hawkers call on minister

PESHAWAR, Dec 5: A delegation comprising newspaper hawkers called on the NWFP Minister for Information, Asif Iqbal Daudzai, here on Tuesday and briefed him about their apprehensions regarding construction of the newspapers hawkers market.

The minister discussed the issues involved in detail and assured that these would be resolved according to the instructions of the NWFP chief minister.

The delegation included the vice-president of the All Pakistan Newspapers Hawkers Federation, Abdul Haleem Khan, chairman of the All Pakistan Newspapers Employees Confederation and the president of the Hawkers Union, Peshawar, Jaafar Ali Shah. — APP
