DERA GHAZI KHAN, Dec 4: The Chief Minister’s Inspection Team on Monday directed the DCO to immediately initiate one-window operation in every department which was launched on the directive of chief minister for the convenience of masses.

The team, led by Tariq Mazari, inspected various departments where it did not find one-window operation desk. During its surprise visits of the department, the team found a large number of employees absent. It directed heads of the departments to ensure attendance of the staff.

The team found newly established DCO office at the district nazim’s office without a signboard which allegedly created confusion among the public.

The team also took notice of lack of officers in district administration which was affecting the performance of the district government and its administration.

The team also visited the offices of district police where DPO Inkasar Khan informed it about the shortage of personnel and division of Kot Chutta police station into two due to large area under its jurisdiction.

However, DCO-cum-EDO (revenue) Mrs Iram Bukhari gave presentation about the approval of development schemes worth Rs250 million on which work would soon be initiated.
