WELLINGTON, Dec 3: Sri Lanka's warm-up cricket match in New Zealand fizzled out to a draw on Sunday, but not before the tourists enjoyed good batting practice ahead of the first Test.

Bad light brought an end to the match against Otago with the provincial side at 46 for two in pursuit of 541.

Sri Lanka scored 413 in their first innings with Chamara Silva compiling 70 and Chamara Kapugedera 68, and declared their second innings closed at 404 for five after Upul Tharanga made 108 and Sanath Jayasuriya 85.

Otago were all out for 276 in their first innings with Lasith Malinga returning the best figures of three for 67 off 17.
