DA College retain title

KARACHI, Dec 2: Defence Authority College retained the title of Karachi Board Inter-collegiate girls’ badminton tournament inflicting straight 3-0 defeat on St. Joseph’s College in the final at Karachi College courts the other day.

Earlier, DA College struggled to beat host Karachi College 3-2 while St. Joseph’s defeated Commecs College by identical margin in the two pre-finals.

DA College bt St. Joseph’s College 3-0

Singles: Hira Fahim bt Nirma Khalid 21-5, 21-6, Nazish bt Hira Zaheer 21-14, 21-5. Doubles: Hira Fahim – Nazish bt Zainab – Javeria 21-14, 21-18.
