GILGIT, Dec 1: Traders selling cellphones have urged the authorities to take stern action against burglars targeting their shops. They said that burglars had taken away cellphones and scratch cards worth Rs400,000 from a shop at the Jamatkhana Bazaar on Wednesday night.
They said that the crime rate was increasing despite patrolling. Police sources said that the superintendent of police of Gilgit Rana Faysal suspended two constables for negligence.
