KARACHI, Nov 30: The Met office has predicted rains in most parts of the country, starting from December 2 and likely to persist for next three to four days.

A Met office spokesman said moderate to heavy snowfall over the mountains was also expected during this period. A well-marked westerly wave is likely to approach Balochistan on Saturday leading to widespread rain/thunder showers with isolated heavy falls in most parts of the country, he added

He said that the Barani and irrigated areas of the country were expected to receive good rains during the period.

Meanwhile, the Met office, in its local forecast, has forecast cloudy weather with chance of drizzle in Karachi on Friday with the minimum temperature expected to range between 14 and 16 degrees Centigrade.—PPI
