PECHS College retain TT title

KARACHI, Nov 28: PECHS Girls College completed a hat-trick of wins when they retained the title of Karachi Board Inter-collegiate girls’ table tennis championship by inflicting a straight 3-0 defeat on Government Girls College, Korangi in the final on Monday.

National champion Ghalia Khurshid gave her college a sound start when she beat Shahpara 11-7, 11-3, 11-8. Ayesha consolidated team’s position further when she overcame Erum 11-6, 11-7, 15-13. Tooba was stretched to four sets on her way to register 11-8, 10-12, 12-10, 11-1 victory over Lala Rukh.
