Security guard injures two colleagues

LAHORE, Nov 28: A security guard shot at his two colleagues over a minor issue in Sherakot on Monday night. Police said watchman Sarwar, along with his colleagues, Riaz, 25, and Tanveer, 30, used to live at Ali Ahmad Bhatti’s dera in Shaheenabad. At around 1am, Sarwar quarrelled with them over a minor issue, which led to heated arguments. He opened fire on them. A bullet hit Riaz on his left hip and Tanveer on right leg.

People nabbed the accused and later handed him over to the police.

The injured were rushed to Mayo Hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.

Dies: A young man, who suffered injury when a stray bullet hit him during a marriage ceremony in the Naulakha area on Nov 24, succumbed to his injuries in Mayo Hospital on Tuesday.

Shafiq of Pathi Ground had come to attend the marriage ceremony when he sustained injury during aerial firing by some people.
