Lawyer, friend kidnapped for ransom

KOHAT, Nov 28: A lawyer and his friend were kidnapped from the Mattani area near Darra Adamkhel late on Monday night. Mr Suhail an advocate, and his friend Ghaus, both residents of Janglekhel, Kohat, were going in a car from Peshawar to Kohat, but they did not reach their homes till late in the night.

Their families tried to get information about them in Peshawar and Kohat, but without success.

Police found their abandoned car in the Mattani area on Tuesday and initiated investigations.

Officials confirmed that the two men had been kidnapped and that they were in contact with the Fata administration to find clue to their location.

Official sources said it was a case of kidnapping for ransom.
