Punjab varsity triumph

HYDERABAD, Nov 27: Punjab University Lahore won all Pakistan Inter-university girls cricket championship defeating University of Sindh Jamshoro by 17 runs at PCB ground, Jamshoro on Monday.

Punjab University scored 93/7 with Nayab Fazal scoring 25 and Nida Dar 18. Hina Khan claimed 2/14 and Lubna Naz 2/17. Mona Parveen and Kiran Baloch shared one wicket each.

University of Sindh were all out for 78 as Huma Naz scored 18.

Madiha Gilani claimed 5/8 with a hat-trick. She was declared woman of the match.
