SWABI, Nov 27: Chief Executive of the Pakistan National Council of Arts Naeem Tahir has said that work on an art gallery near the Parliament House in Islamabad will be completed next year. The gallery will be of great help to students of different arts.

He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of the All Pakistan Art Gala, held by the Naqsh Society in collaboration with the PNCA at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology on Monday.

In theme-based painting competition, Maliha Abbas, Hinna Younas and Maria Jamal stood first, second and third, respectively.

Jawad Tariq bagged the first position in the T-Shirt competition, Zain bin Awais stood second and Maliha Tahir third. In the portrait competition, Jawad Tariq captured the first position, Asma Atif second and Arsalan third. The first position in the landscape competition went to Zain bin Awais, second to Mariam Ibrar and third to Saif.
