KARACHI, Nov 25: West Indies’ Test wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin on Saturday displaced Carlton Baugh in the 14-man One-day International squad announced for the five-match series against Pakistan next month.

Baugh played in the triangular tournament in Malaysia and the ICC Champions Trophy in India recently.

Fast bowlers Fidel Edwards, Corey Collymore and left-handed batsman Wavell Hinds were also left out of the squad which shows four changes.

Edwards, who played in the first Test at Lahore, lost his place to Jamaican speedster Daren Powell while uncapped opening batsman Lendl Simmons, the 21-year-old nephew of former West Indian all-rounder and ex-Zimbabwe coach Phil Simmons, has been preferred to Hinds.

Slow left-armer Dave Mohammed, who has impressed in the ongoing Test series, has also been named for the ODI series.One-day specialists Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Smith and Ian Bradshaw, the left-arm pace bowler, are all back to face Pakistan.

The ODI series commences in Rawalpindi on Dec 5. The remaining matches are scheduled for Faisalabad (Dec 7), Lahore (Dec 10), Multan (Dec 13) and Karachi (Dec 16).

The West Indies’ one-day form has been quite impressive this year as they managed to beat India 4-1 at home and made it the to finals of the competitions in Malaysia and India where they beat world champions Australia and South Africa.
