DADU, Nov 25: A large number of residents of Tajo Panhwar and Bahadur Panhwar villages of Dadu taluka took out a rally here on Saturday to protest against suspension of electricity to their villages for the last seven days.

They were led by Zamir Ahmed, Musharraf Hussain, Azizullah, Fazal Khan and Mohammad Yaseen.

Speaking on the occasion, they complained that 90 per cent Hesco consumers of their villages had paid their bills but officials of the Hesco feeder of Phulji station of Dadu-II subdivision had suspended their power supply for the last seven days without any reason.

They alleged that Hesco officials were demanding bribe for restoration of power supply to their villages. They threatened to continue their protest if the power supply to their villages was not restored.

KILLED: A thief, Ghulam Hussain Jamali, was killed by inmates of the house when he barged into the house of one Ibrahim, in the Mohammad Ibrahim Jamali village in Dadu taluka on Friday night.

Ghulam Hussain was shot dead by inmates when he tried to steal a cow. His other three accomplices fled from the scene.
