Two killed as coaster overturns

THATTA, Sept 30: Two people were killed and ten injured when a pickup overturned near Gharo early Sunday morning.

The pickup driver was driving the vehicle at great speed as a result of which it overturned killing a man, Abdul Rehman Memon (54), and a boy, Adnan (12), on the spot and injuring ten others including seven children.

The pickup was headed for Gulshan-e-Hadeed.

TEENAGER KILLED: A teenager, Abdul Hafiz Kandhro (16), fell to his death from the Sukkur Express near the Jungshahi railway station early Sunday morning.

GIRL CRUSHED TO DEATH: A girl, Asiya (10), was crushed to death under the wheels of the Tezgam near the Jhumpir railway station on Sunday.

COASTER VICTIM: A man, Rafiq Ahmed Babar, was crushed to death under the wheels of a coaster on the National Highway, near Jheruk, on Sunday.
