Rain spell in Balochistan continues

QUETTA, Nov 19: Northern Balochistan, including the provincial capital, received heavy rain for the sixth day on Sunday.

The rain continued at intervals, turning the weather cold.

Thick clouds are hovering over Quetta, Musakhel, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Pishin and other parts of the province and more rains are expected.

The meteorological office forecast that partly cloudy weather would persist in Quetta valley and adjoining areas during the next 24 hours.

The maximum temperature on Sunday was 16 degrees Celsius and the minimum was five degrees Celsius with 70 per cent humidity.

On Monday, the maximum temperature is expected to remain between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius and the minimum between four and six degrees Celsius.

The highest temperature in Balochistan was 32.5 degrees Celsius at Lasbella and the lowest four degrees Celsius at Zhob.—APP
