ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: Women can play a vital role in eradicating social evils through their education, if provided with better opportunities, said Senate Standing Committee on Education, Science and Technology Chairperson Razina Alam Khan on Saturday.

Talking to students of PAF Finishing School for Women here, Ms Khan highlighted the role of half of the country’s population in eradicating evil from the society.

“If we impart education to one girl, we get the whole family educated,” she said, urging women to get education to understand their active role and status in the society.
