Tauseef slams hat-trick for KU

KARACHI, Nov 17: Tauseef’s hat-trick enabled host Karachi University to storm into the final of Inter-University Zone F football tournament with an emphatic 7-2 victory over Iqra University at the formers ground on Friday.

Tauseef slammed three goals in a row in 3rd, 7th and 30th minute as KU led 4-1 at half time. Farhan (2), Kamran and Adnan one apiece, were the other scorers for winners. Ejazul Haq (34th) and Bilal (64th) scored a goal each for losing side.

KU now meets Aga Khan in the Sunday’s final who in the other pre-final chalked up a 2-1 win over Sir Syed University after being locked 1-1 at breather.

Ammad struck twice for the winners in 16th and 40th minutes while Amin scored consolation goal for losers in 18th minute.
