Truck driver killed

KOHAT, Nov 17: Highwaymen killed a truck driver carrying goods to Kurram Agency on Thursday night, police said. According to a report lodged with the Cantonment police, unidentified armed men intercepted the truck (2185-K, Peshawar) on the Parachinar road near Nasrat Khel at 1.30am.

They asked the driver to hand over cash, but when he and his cleaner offered resistance the robbers killed the driver, Turab Khan, a resident of Miramshah.

An FIR has been registered against unidentified killers.
