PESHAWAR, Nov 17: Seventeen students were awarded scholarships of Rs10, 000 each at a ceremony of semester-wise graduate merit scholarship held here in the Institute of Management Sciences on Friday.

The winners were selected from different categories, including MBA, MBA (banking and finance), MS (information technology) and Masters in Public Health. The internal scholarship committee made the selection of candidates.

The chief guest, president of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Liaqat Ahmad Khan, distributed the prizes among successful candidates.

Director of the institute Dr Nasser Ali Khan also spoke on the occassion.—APP
