KARACHI, Nov 17: The provincial police chief, Jehangir Mirza, has expressed his dissatisfaction over the overall performance of the Lyari Town police in general and particularly the Lyari Task Force (LTF).

Mr Mirza paid a surprise visit to the offices of the LTF on Friday and expressed displeasure over the performance of the LTF chief.

Issuing a warning to the LTF’s officials, the police chief said that they must improve their performance otherwise departmental action would be initiated against them. The police chief directed the acting CCPO to personally monitor the performance of the LTF and Lyari town police and prepare a report about its performance.
