KARACHI, Nov 15: The Sindh High Court assured its advocates on Wednesday of its full cooperation in extending help to the families of deceased lawyers. Addressing a full court reference in honour of Advocates Mansoor Ahmad Khan, G.M. Qureshi, Jan Mohammad Dawood and Syed Sarfraz Ahhmad, who died recently, Chief Justice Sabihuddin Ahmed asked the lawyers to work out ways to provide assistance to the dependants of their deceased colleagues. The Bench would offer all possible support to any initiative taken in this behalf, he said. The CJ paid rich tributes to the departed members of the legal fraternity.

The reference was earlier addressed by Senior Puisne Judge Sarmad Jalal Osmany, SHC Bar Association President M. Ilyas Khan, Sindh Bar Council Vice-Chairman Asif Ali Soomro, Advocate-General Anwar Mansoor Khan, Deputy Attorney-General Akhter Ali Mahmud and Karachi Bar Association President Mahmoodul Hasan.
