BAHAWALPUR, Nov 14: Seven people, including two brothers, allegedly chopped off the ears of their brother-in-law Kashif Mahmood with scissors at Chak 103/DNB near Yazman, about 30 kilometres from here, on Monday.
The sister of accused Imran and Irfan contracted love marriage with Kashif, a rickshaw driver, about two years ago.
To take revenge, the accused, along with their five companions, caught Kashif, tortured him and chopped off his ears and shaved his head.
The injured was admitted to hospital. Police have registered a case against the absconding accused.
