Published November 14, 2006

QUETTA, Nov 13: Provincial Transport Minister Mir Habibur Rehman Mohammad Hasni has said that Karachi nazim’s recent decision relating to entry of buses into the Sindh capital would create difficulties for transporters of Balochistan.

The minister said that the Karachi nazim should have discussed the matter with the Balochistan government and provincial transporters’ organisations before taking any such decision.

He told a delegation of Balochistan’s transporters that he would take up the matter with the Sindh government.

He said the nazim had taken the decision only for buses and coaches of Balochistan. "It is a discriminatory decision.”
