TIMERGARAH (Lower Dir), Nov 12: A man and his wife were killed allegedly by the woman’s relatives in the name of honour in the Aegatal village here on Sunday.

Khaistha Begum had left her home and married Islamzeb three days ago, infuriating her relatives. Shahzeb, a brother of Islamzeb, registered an FIR at the Ouch police station against the woman’s father and other relatives.

People of the area said members of the woman’s family deceived the couple and invited them to their home. When they went there, they added, the woman’s relatives allegedly killed them.

KILLED: Bakht Zameen, a resident of the Achar village, was killed by some people while he was working in his fields.

Police registered an FIR.

Meanwhile, some people killed a student, Bakht Modin, who was collecting donations for Maddressah Mohammadia in the Qolandi area.
