MARDAN, Nov 8: A nurse of a private hospital in Par Hoti was abducted on gunpoint by four armed men here on Wednesday. The father of a nurse identified as Sofi Karim lodged a complaint at Hoti police station, saying that his daughter, was kidnapped by four armed men. He alleged that Bahadur, Yousuf, Anwar Jan Khan and Javed had abducted his daughter because earlier, he claimed, that Bahadur wanted to marry his daughter, which he rejected.

Hoti police has started search of the abductors, however, no arrest has been made so far.

This is the second case of abduction in the last two weeks. On Oct 22, a university student was kidnapped by armed men at Lund Khwar (Mardan). The cause of the kidnapping was also stated that relatives of the victim refused engagement with one of the abductors. She is still missing.—Correspondent
