PFF submits bid

KARACHI, Nov 7: Pakistan is looking to organise the next AFC Challenge Cup in 2008 as the country's football governing body – Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has submitted their bid to host the second edition of the continental event, a PFF media statement said here on Tuesday.

Other countries which have also submitted their bids to host the tournament are Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan and Philippines.

Bangladesh was also in line but their bid was rejected as they had hosted the 2006 edition.—PPI
