3 killed in accidents

ATTOCk, Nov 6: Three persons were killed and 18 injured in two road accidents Sunday evening. The first accident took place on Attock-Basal road in Kala Chita mountainous area when a Pindigheb-bound wagon over turned due to brakes’ failure near Warraich village.

As a result, two persons, Musafar Khan and Khairun Nisa, died, while 16 passengers who had sustained injuries were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital. They were identified as Haji Sher Khan, Madad Khan, Mohammad Banars, Mohammad Ashraf, Rabnawaz, Ghulam Farid, Mohammad Elahi, Hakim Khan, Aslam, Mohammad Iftikhar, Muhabat Khan, Sahiba Jan, Musarf Bibi, Sadani, Safurah Bibi and Perveen.

In the second incident, one youth was killed and two others sustained injuries after their bike skidded on Bahtar-Fatehjang road.

Mohammad Shafique, Talat Mehmood and Abdul Qadoos were on their way to Jand from Rawalpindi when the accident took place. As a result, Mohammad Shafique died on the spot, while the other two were injured.
