16 teams in fray for Gymkhana Cup

LAHORE, Nov 4: Hosts Lahore Gymkhana will play Universal Club in the opening match of Gymkhana Cup cricket at their own ground in Bagh-i-Jinnah on Sunday. In all, 16 top clubs of Lahore are participating in the competition. The teams have been divided into four pools.

Pool ‘A’ comprises of Lahore Gymkhana, Dharampura Gymkhana, Universal Club and Crescent Club. Pool ‘B’ consists of Model Town Greens, P & T Gymkhana, Shining Club and Muslim Gymkhana, Pool ‘C’ includes Akhtar Abdul Rehman Club, Mughalpura Whites, Punjab Club and Victorious Club while Apollo Club, Cricket Centre, Aligarh Club and Ludhiana Club are placed in Pool ‘D’.
