Eritrean president

KARACHI, Nov 3: The president of Eritrea, Mr Isaias Afwerki, made a brief stopover at the Karachi airport on Friday on his way to Beijing.

He was received at the airport by the adviser to the Sindh chief minister, Kishanchand Parwani, and Eritrean Ambassador to Pakistan Abdul M. Heggi.

After a brief stay at the airport, President Afwerki along and his delegation left for Beijing.

Honorary Consul of Eritrea Shakil A. Kashmirwala said President Afwerki discussed with the adviser proposals of flights between Karachi and Asmara via Dubai and starting a shipping line between the two countries.–APP
