Sportsfishing to resume from 12th

KARACHI, Nov 1: The sportsfishing season will resume in the month of November after the Ramazan break with the Arabian Sea Sportfishing Tournament which will be held on the 12th and the Pakistan Billfish tournament which is scheduled for the Nov 26.

Anglers, both male and female who have the experience of offshore rod and reel fishing can participate in these exciting outdoor events. The second event is for the heavyweight class and serious anglers with heavy fishing tackle and knowledge of Tuna and Marlin fishing can take part. Apart from the heaviest winning fish cup (3 positions) there shall also be trophies for heaviest fish of different species.

A big turnout is expected for the fishing tournaments, which are now in their 17th year. —Agencies
