KARACHI, Oct 31: Arshad Pappu’s wife has urged the authorities to allow her to see her husband in jail as Arshad has fallen ill. On Oct 21, Arshad was sent to jail and since then his family members have not been allowed to visit him, said Asma Arshad, speaking at a press conference at Karachi Press Club on Tuesday.

Describing her husband as ‘innocent’, Asma said Arshad was only pitted against his enemies and he inflicted no harm to innocent people.

She said that all the male members of her family have been picked up by the police, and even 10-year-old children are not being spared.
