KARACHI, Oct 31: Four vessels carrying containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was light where three ships, Monique, to unload and load general cargo, Iran Tabatabaei to unload and load containers and Raban-1 to load rice were berthed.

Sailing on the other hand was active as half dozen vessels including Pu He, Kota Permai, Westermoor, Atlantic Express, Swat and Pearls departed, while Iran Tabatabaei, Monique, Opal, Andino Park, Global Prosperity, and Pacific Emerald are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 65,579 tons comprising 10,155 tons of export cargo including 2,641 tons of rice and 55,424 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Orient Independence, Hyundai Stride, Corin Thiakos, and Y. M. Moon to offload and load containers.
