22 killed in accident

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Oct 29: Twenty-two people were killed and over two dozen injured when a bus collided with an oil tanker on Jatoi-Sheher Sultan Road in Muzaffargarh district on Sunday. The dead included six children and four women.

The passenger bus was on way to Alipur. At Hamzaywali, it rammed into the oil tanker. Police said the drivers of the two vehicles died on the spot.

The injured were rushed to the Muzaffargarh DHQ and Multan’s Nishtar hospitals while bodies were taken to the Jatoi civil hospital for identification.
